A study says countries in the Asia-Pacific are developing advanced rocket weapons such as drones and cruise missiles to offset China's aggressiveness.

According to Zhao Tong, a researcher at the Carnegie-Tsinghua Center for Global, China is a world leader in missile and drone technology.

Zhao also assessed the increased demand for these weapons was partly a response to Beijing's increasing strength and the deteriorating security environment in the area.
